Crocodilians

Ingozi

We saw Ingozi at a small Reptile Distributor headed for the pet trade. We thought that was irresponsible, so we acquired him for our Education Programs.

Bubba

Bubba came from a small roadside zoo, whose alligator enclosure had become overpopulated. They were sending the excess alligators to a processing facility to be used for meat and hide products. We stepped in and took Bubba off of their hands.

Brutus

Some of our Alligators come from Alligator farms who process them for meat and hide products. At these facilities occasionally a "Runt" is born. These do not grow normally, and are typically housed with larger alligators that often eat them. When we came across Brutus, he was missing toes, had a badly damaged arm and eye, and would not have made it if we didn't take him.

Tiny

Tiny was found in a neighborhood following children. He had obviously been fed by someone & would have been put down had we not taken him.
